If you haven’t heard of Prosper202, you need to snag it! It’s an all-in-one, self-hosted PPC tracking software.

It’s got everything you could possibly want for tracking your traffic. It even interfaces seamlessly with MediaTraffic for PPV traffic.

I’ve been using Affiliate Prophet for AIDA time and conversion tracking, but recently switched over 100% to Prosper202. When you’re dealing with pay-per-view contextual advertising, you want to be able to target some keywords, find relevant sites, and put those PPV ads up as fast as possible. You don’t want to sit around, double-checking “weird” domains and URLs.

Well, there were other methods – custom software, interfacing with Excel, etc… but they all took way more time than was necessary. There’s definitely a need for an automation tool that lets you sift through a list of sites, so here it is.

After being very unsatisfied with banner rotation scripts I’ve found online, I decided to build my own. You can use this on your landing pages, blogs, squeeze pages, etc.

Simply create a new MySQL database and user using CPanel’s SQL wizard, then add the ‘banner’ table as direct in the ZIP file.

Split-testing and tracking are very important when it comes to internet marketing. Without one or the other, you’re not going to be finding out what is working better. Any changes you make to your advertising campaign are going to be like flying blind if you’re not making your decisions based on data.

So… without data… you’re flying blind.

If you want to split-test offers by direct linking or PPV (pay-per-view, also known as CPV, or cost-per-view), you’re going to be throwing valuable data away, since you can’t do sub-id tracking…

Sadly, I wasn’t able to find something that would solve this issue… so I coded my own, and I’m giving it away.
